What about sea and air creatures

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 2:08 am

C'mon I don't want to just see slaughter fish maybe we could bring back Dreughs perhaps. Also will there be anything else in the sky other than dragons. I don't want just [ censored] cliffracers I had enough of them in morrowind . So think of some.

Have they censored cliff racors???

I agree though, more interesting waters would be good.

Heard somewhere birds were confirmed, I think in the "confirmed features" thread. Dunno for sure though.

What about search option?

Anyway.
Yes, I would love to see more water and air creatures (especially water ones).

Sharks... where they at?

How many sky creatures are there besides dragons, cliffracers, netchs, and birds? I suppose netchs and cliffracers can be incuded.

Edit: Oh I forgot giant bats, those should be in.

I would really like to see schools of small fish swimming upstream and maybe bears hunting them :D Doubt it will happen though.

iirc in skyrim there is a clan of vampires that live in frozen lakes. Could be fun - there you are just walking casually on ice, and suddenly you are dragged under water, you are running out of air, trying to fight blindly under water while trying to find an opening in the ice so you could escape. Could be epic :)

EDIT: As for air creatures... well, maybe we can have daedra seducers from daggerfall back. Naked chicks with wings :hubbahubba:

Betheda can come up with new air/sky creatures...
They aren't magically bound to cliffracers, netches, dragons, etc...

Yes birds were confirmed, and fish too! Can't wait to see how they'll be implemented. You can see birds in the trailer from time to time.

In terms of THe Skies, Dragons and Birds are enough for me. Even these creatures live (rest, mate, eat) on land, yet they can fly.

As to the Seas. . . TOTALLY agreed. There should definitely be more things in the deep waters, especially when you venture out into the deepths of the sea. They shouldn't be swarming all over the place, no more than wolves and mountain lions are on land, but they should definitely exist within the waters.

Not only small sea creatures, like slaughterfish. I want HUGE sea creatures/ sea dragons too.

I don't care much for cliff racers, they annoyed the hell out of me. In Morrowind there were no cliff racers in nearby Solstheim, which makes me think cliff racers don't like the colder climate. Other air creature could be good though, or if they just made the cliff racers less annoying I wouldn't mind if they were in Skyrim.

I'd love to see water creatures. Make the water seem a bit more dangerous. In Oblivion it was like "Hm....I could either swim across and save time, or use the bridge and take forever." In Skyrim It could be like "I Think I'll take the bridge, I just seen a tenticle!"

Also, I'd like to see Wolf Packs (I know their not Sea nor Air creatures) I mean, Wolves are more likely to run in packs then being Solo.

Wereshark.

Which leds me to wonder where are these normal sharks.

On that, werecrocs are rumored to exsist in Black Marsh, so where are these normal crocodiles <--- Not for Skyrim

I want to see large sea creatures so that when a friend is in the room, I can point at it and say "check it out, your mom did a cameo", or something to that effect :D

Well Weresharks are very rare, so it can make sense that sharks are an endangered species, and only exist in a certain part(s) of Tamriel.
I would love it if the seas of Skyrim had sharks though.

as for crocs. normal crocs probably just exist in Black Marsh (maybe not in Arena, but I never played that).

I'd love to seee sharks. Not too close, you understand. Lol. But I hope there is an interesting diversity of sea life, just as there is of land animals.
