i thought there were no OHK?

so i thought they had no one hit kills in this game? apart from i think i remember someone on here saying a buffed heavy weapon against a light?

im a medium build and i got one shot like 3 times from a light using a sniper rifle. No i wasnt shot before hand, i thought that at first but then i respawned saw him and BAM he one shot me again from full health and 1 extra pip. So are the OHKs meant to be there?

A bolt action sniper rifle to the face will one hit anything, a buffed bolt action to the torso will one hit anything as well. That's the only one hit gun I know of.

That gun is actually kind of hard to aim with, especially after you shoot it, it jumps all over the place and once it settles you'll likely be aiming at the ground or the sky. When I do sniper work though, I prefer the other gun more. Three center mass shots in two seconds opposed to two center mass shots in three seconds.

They said a Barnett would probably be able to OHI an unbuffed Light.

They never said the Barnett had to be buffed.

This is the case in game, and a headshot can OHI an unbuffed Medium.

NOTHING can OHK you - EVER. You get incapacitated first, THEN they kill you when you're down.

ive been killed pretty quickly after going down, as in didnt even get to see myself on floor lol BUT what you are saying is that when they said no ohk, all they meant is that nothing will make you spectate until the next respawn but you can still go down to incap with 1 shot?

They said at one stage "no one-shotting people" - but they've adjusted that over time and playtesting and the final result was that "you should never die without having some idea how it happened." They've mostly achieved that (but I'll admit, only mostly, and enemy AI has more accurate weapons than a human player can realistically manage)

A heavily buffed Barnett can one-shot a Heavy with one or two bonus pips or a fully-buffed Light, if you land a headshot. It's HIGHLY unlikely to have that happen though. not impossible, but you're not going to get that perfect setup very much.

No you didn't.

The bots just team-burst-fire headshot you with infinite accuracy buffed weapons. You have 3 guys with buffed guns shoot your head simultaneously, it's going to feel like you got one-shotted.

I know for a fact I read in several places that originally for this game a head shot and a body shot were worth the same value? Or was that being strictly referenced in point value only (for score, as I have noticed is the case)?

I never heard that.

They said headshots would do more damage, but it wouldn't be as huge a change as it is in a lot of games.

They also said XP is based on the damage done. Which it is.

If you're good it's possible to kill someone with the shotgun just as you're doing a sliding tackle. Though that might not be considered a one hit kill.
