No, it doesn't happen when I have the mod removed.

Strange, Nobody else report this problem.
It only affect status bars? (Health, Magicka and Fatigue)
If yes, try this:
Open the HUD settings and go to the "Status bars" menu, then disable every option of the status bar ("Always show" to all and "Don't force show in combat")
Or maybe you have this problem because the mod update the settings every frame. I will check it.

About mod development:
Actually my modding time is less than 15 minutes at week, but this week-end I have some more time. Maybe I could also release an update.

Another mod add the charge bar: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34905 from TheNiceOne.
I don't know if I will remove it, but actually you can easily disable it in the HUD settings.

About MenuQue:
I've made to much edits in "HUD_main_menu.xml". I've added and edited many lines, and some changes are only compatible with Darnified UI.
I don't know if MenuQue can add lines (Example) between a specific tag inside the tag in the "Health bar" code
If not, to increase the compatibility, I will have to sacrifice features like bars and icons autofade, and maybe also the charge bar and the shield icon (luckily, the torch icon is safe).
About the charge bar, I will eventually remove it (See above), but I can save the shield icon.

Yes, it only affects the status bars. It doesn't happen all the time. It's not a big deal, really. Just something I thought you should know.

Don't remove the charge bar. I like it. Why would you have to remove it?

- The mod from TheNiceOne has an identical charge bar feature and it seems even better (It's specialized on bars)
- I'm not sure I can save it and the autofade feature with MenuQue (It's required to keep compatibility with the other HUD/UI mods). I can save all if MenuQue has the function I need (I will check).

Right on. I like HUD Improved the way it is (save the flickering). But maybe any changes you make will make it better.

Damn! My work drains all my free time!
I've very few free time left (Saturday and Sunday) and I can't use it to modding.

In other words, I can't support/improve this mod anymore.
If somebody is skilled enough and want to take my place, just post your "candidature"

This mod need the following implementation:
- Many bug-fixes
- MenuQue support
- Alpha for pop-ups
- Display a real-time clock (actually there is only a game-time clock)
- Any other idea
