Bulpdaun?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 4:02 am

Anyway im trying to get in the habit of looking at my radar (in killzone 3 it was in a different place so im not used to it) and a few days ago i realised hardly anyone used the Bulpdaun after trying every Smg i found the bulpdaun the best and it takes only about 1 more bullet to kill someone and i was wondering if anybody else used it? and i would like to add why do people use the carb 9? the tampa is more accurate and has a faster reload time and barely has less damage?

Usually in shooters, I find a gun and stick with it...but for Brink...I'm usually always changing my guns. I'm currently using the Gerund AR, and the Bulpdaun.

The Gerund may have crappy damage, but the thing handles very well.

No, No, No; you have your stats all wrong. Google Brink denkirson to find the real stats.

assumeing your hitting the body on a medium it takes 1 extra bullet attacking a heavy 2 bullets. the tampa basicly has the same damage as a carb because a heavy with max health (280 will take 12 bullets from each gun) tampa does take a shorter time to reload the bulpdaun is hella accurate.

I'm with you on the Bulpdaun. I switched to it from the carb 9 because I like the ADS better. Just seems more accurate at mid range. I think the reason people like the Carb over the Tampa is due to the Carb's hip fire accuracy.

All of this is true in my experience (my opinion).

The Bulpdaun does not have that slight kick that the Carb-9 gets after awhile in ADS (throws aim off at mid-range). Also, the Carb-9 feels more like a bullet hose than the Bulpdaun, but that might just be because I haven't played with it as much.

Yes, i always use my sights, even when i tried heavy body and the heavy MG's/lobster/nade stuff. Bulpdaun is just plain awesome. As a light class, its essential when im going into close quarters. If you are a close combat light class, i recommend bulpdaun + sea eagle/belgo MP. But, for some reason most people dont use the bulpdaun. Choose the gun you like best. For me, its in my sig.

I've tried out all the guns at least a few times, and settled on the Galactic as my preferred SMG.

I love that all the different weapons have their uses, and are effective in the right hands - there's no "best" weapon in any class - and there's no "best" type of weapon - although SMGs are less situational than the others, because there are so few spaces open enough to make the range advantage a reliable one.

I like it and am currently using it. Just wish it had a round drum geez. I'll probably switch just for the simple fact that I love the Thompson with a round drum (or Tommy Gun) and any gun that reminds me of it gets me wet.

I sleep with the bulpdaun by my side. It is my favorite weapon, always reliable. The only thing I would change is more ammo in a clip... oh wait, I did with the high capacity mag attachment

Tampa is more accurate? Are you sure you're playing BRINK?

The Tampa is the most inaccurate SMG. That and its high damage and high equip speed make it purely a close combat/medium range gun.

The Bulpdaun is the most accurate SMG in the game if you look down the sights. You can fire full auto and still hit almost every shot at medium-long range.

According to my stats theoretically tampa is the "best" SMG according to damage, RoF, and reload speeds but the Bulpadauns high stability and accuracy suit my playstyle better.
I find myself getting kills quicker with the Bulpadaun, Kross, and Galactic even though they have less damage.

One more thing, does anyone else find the Galactic to be a great gun even though it statistically svcks, Galactic was the SMG I used to unlock the Bulpadaun and I still love it

The Bulpdaun is my SMG and secondary weapon of choice. I think most people don't use it just because it's a Rank 2 Be More Objective challenge unlock and that challenge is impossible at higher character levels. I got my Bulp with the Doom pack which actually made me happy to have pre-ordered at GS; it's stable, has a fast fire rate, good damage, and can hold a good amount of magazines.

My DOOM skin is on the Bulpdaun so I use it and like it. I use the Tampa for my Medic character since he always has to get close into the action to revive people, it's a really good close range SMG.

I use two bulpdauns actually, the standard as my primary and the DOOM bulpdaun as my secondary.

It has the greatest sighted accuracy and stability of any of the SMG-class weapons, and takes down targets like an assault rifle. The only real downfall of the bulpdaun is that it takes a little more effort to kill a target in close quarters combat compared to the other SMGs, and the limited ammunition capacity (only 40 rounds with an extended mag) combined with relatively slow reload speed forces you to reload constantly and be more careful when doing so.

I just wish they had one based on the P90 instead of the F2000, always liked the look of that gun better =P

I would like to see a P90 as a future DLC weapon. Sure, no extended mags, but it has virtually no recoil no matter what and its accuracy is pretty sweet. It just doesn't hurt that much.

Third the P90 DLC, would be sweet as hell!

As far as SMGs, I prefer the Kross or Bulpdaun (Doom)

I'm not going to use it until I'll get my preorder on PS3. I'm just nuts for DOOM!
Before anyone says anything: Yes, I did unlock it :)

So, for now I'm using Kross, and I love that "lil" gun. It has second best accuracy after Bulpdaun, second best reload time after Tampa. The tradeoff is in damage, it has the second lowest within SMGs,
My main weapon is Rhett. Don't know why people would say SMG>AR. Few quick taps on the fire button and enemy is sniffing flowers...from below ;)
Just need to use them within the range that the guns were designed for.

Have fun!

Personally I love the gun, the range on thing when looking down the sights is incredible. Gotten plenty of long range kills with it that I wouldn't have been able to have gotten with any other SMG.

I have the Doom pre-order pack which gives you a cool skinned bulpdaun unlocked from the start, so I've been using it as my favorite smg for that reason.
