im not really getting the i want virus infecting many on these forums. I.E i want spears/lycanthropy/better graphics etc etc
but lets look at it this way TES games have a way of being great im currently on my 7th play through of oblivion now im on a console(360) so no mods to make it look nicer or mods for more realism etc just plain old vanillia and its great just the way it is many on PC will mod in what they want which hey is there priority. but us console players will have to be happy with what we get which im sure with bethesdas reputation is going to be a great varied and well thought out game so please everbody post one idea that they like about sky rim heres mine.

well you see when we ccry and complain we go into the game crying and complaining and then when we start it and cream our pants from the epicness its all around a better game :celebration:

Overall the response as been great. There is a few who like to throw the spanner into the works. Alot of negative comments ( in my opinion ) are because people don't read all the info properly,and make hastey judgement. There is a difference between damn right negativity and constructive critisicm. Everyone has an opinion,it's just some do that without thinking or reading properly. I get annoyed with it. I know i will like skyrim,i know i will buy it....it's going be be a great game i think.

Short answer - It's an internet game forum. This is just how they are.




Could be worse - it only takes minutes after the announcement of a new Final Fantasy game (no details, just that a new game is coming) before the more "fervent" fans of the series are posting on the forums that the new game is the worst in the series and/or a crime against humanity. :lmao:

lol now thats a good excuse if i ever heard one most ppl try not to get there hopes up or moan so as not to be dissappointed but the way i see it OB was made what 6 years ago? and 90% of people i know are either replaying it or still only half way through lol so why are somany worried about a game that has severeal months till its release yet are ao willing to go back and replay a game that in console years might as well be ancient? sure there are things i would like but hell many of them would break/unbalance the game so im more then happyn to leave bethesdas game in bethesdas hands and if it turns out they messed up big time ( i doubt they will) then i will piss and moan like a spoilt brat getting a turd instead of a choclate bar.

I like consoles better than pc and i've never been disappointed with the ES games, but it's always nice to think about the possibilities. I think some people have been complaining but many of us are just hopeful that some of the things we'd like to see will be in the game. Like we're trying to give the Bethesda people a heads-up for what is really important for us to see in the newest game, in the hopes that they'll see it and decide to add it before they're done making the game.

The Negatives can be considered people who care about the series, not just people who like the game for what it is. you may not have seen it or considered it but people don't want another Oblivion Fiasco, some enjoyed it, some don't in various regards but its fair to say that anyone on the forums here is a fan of the series,or just Oblivion which ever floats your boat. but trying to put a bad light on people who are pointing out flaws is a flawed argument in its own, sure people overreact but its because THEY CARE ABOUT THE SERIES not because they come to troll and moan and the slightest kick, these *worries* are founded and have merit its not like they come out of the blue to stir a shi*storm.

While you have a point about people caring for the game series,that is not always the case. Some people don't read info properly,or moan because one of their ideas hasn't been put in.
While i agree with you on the most part,it works the other way too. As for oblivion,it wasn't as bad some make out,it was great game in my opinion,as was morrrowind.
Although i can't use mods,oblivion had a great modding community,oblivion was better than most people say in my opinion.

ok now this terminology i get nut people aren't just moaning about previous flaws which im sure have been rectefied many are moaning abot mundane things like graphics now i dont know about you? but so far sky rim looks better then any other TES game even OB which as i said may people even without the ability to mod are more then happy to replay.despite its flaws but ten minutes later are on here moaning about something or other i know everyone has and is entitled to there opinion but ehy maon about a game that a) isnt even out yet so we still have very few details and B) is to far in development for any random changes to be made on a fans whim.

WTF is a fishy stick?? I don't think I got one of those either. Even if I DON'T get one, I still want to know... wtf? Does is symbolize something? Or is it just some random "thing" or what?

As to the OP... well, it's an online forum. By virtue of its existence, people must post complaints. *Some* people do it because they care about the game series, but the rest are... well, let's just leave it at that. It's for the best.

You guys seemed to have entered during a Time where FO3 was the six and the tradition of Fishy sticks was at an all time low, you don't Fishy sticks in fallout I would Fishy sticks for everybody but thats not how it works, it use to be fishy sticks for making awesome points or making great contributions but there is just too much garbage posts these days, so now Newbies are given fishysticks, sorry peeps your chances have long passed


besides new people barely even get the concept, i've given 18 fishy sticks betten now and febs beginning and NONE acknowledged the fishy treats. so bliviongate: in oblivion

Come on guys the complaints are cool they keep the blood running and the adrenaline and sometimes the discussions are much more fertile when the starting point is a criticism.

Ah well, then I'll have to think of some particularly brilliant thing to post one of these days to earn myself a fishy stick. Over seven months to go until the release of Skyrim, that should be enough time to come up with something. :toughninja:
