Anyone else noticing this?

is it just me or have the AI gotten very smart? The past few days it seems like the AI are just auto head shoting me. even as a heavy i get three shot by some light before i can react, even when i get the drop on em they spin around and drop me FAST.

I have noticed this too LoL. I love Brink's AI, and most of us PC players thought we were twitchy! Anyhow, thank god for the AI's terrible, I mean terrible short term memory. If it wasn't for that, we, the players, would probably be getting our ___ handed to us by the AI, who actually plays a lot like a real human player. I'm very impressed.

-Believe me, if you couldn't duck behind a wall and have the AI forget about you.. and rather, the second they saw you, they chased you down.. it would be not stop AI wooping the players LoL, because the AI is by far the king of head shots. We shoot center mass, the AI puts two to the head, one to the chest.

I do have a lot of questions of the actual mechanic behind the AI, of how it dynamically increases or decreases it's skill level. I dunno, there is some spooky stuff going on with the AI in this game >> From a programming perspective.

but we are, not fair to put us up against something with abilities far beyond ours lol, here's an example, a few minutes ago in a match, come up to a CP and a bot is taking it, me and a bot both started shooting it, it spins around and drops me before we can kill him.

It's really dumb, sometimes the smart move is NOT to get the drop on them. It's really stupid when I'm disguised, behind someone and I want to stick them, as I pull out my nade and destroy my disguise; they turn around and kill me.

They just need slower reaction times.

Its a way to make up for their crippleing weaknesses in other areas. By making them killing machines, it makes them seem smart even though they have strong patterns.

My teamate AI's managed to sneak past an enemy blockade and plant an HE charge successfully. I was reviving some guys because my friend was cutting us down with a buffed MG.

all ive seen time and time again is im doing fine, all under controll next thing im down then suddenly whole team is missing and enemy have disarmed, armed or destroyed what ever the objective was at time.

mission 2 for resitance was another prime example how flawed the ai is, we clear whole area for the safe yet not single operative came up to do safe then when he did not a single ai was left in the area and thanks to the pointless objective wheel which is as much use as a ps3 account its not like i could even get any of the pointless ai to come to the location, after all why would they when they could be stood in a corridor 25m away instead of wasting their time on an objective.

Isn't that how it works in every single-player game? Fighting much better skilled A.I. in a desperate attempt at victory?

We seem to come out triumphant in the end, however.

Yup, your mind has been blow. :nuke:

How many of u went thru the Early Launch for first attempt, or spent only few rounds? I dunno whats happening but I have tried everything and I couldnt get thru even easy difficulty level on lololol. I just thought that the harder I try the harder bots striking back. They really had their "aimbots" pointed to my head all the time. I mean many many times when bot came from behind something it was insta death to me. I hardly got time to pull the trigger. Then I had to skip the mission and just wondered how easy the rest missions were. I will accomplish the early launch just need to figure out what im doing wrong:)
