Brink... SWBF2? o.O

But... This game reminds me of Star Wars Battlefront 2 o.O

They AI are crappy... the online is laggy... and the story is again based upon random missions that you would only play during online...

And yet no one is complaining about that game to this day on... In addition, it is highly active in the gaming community.
The only reason I bought SWBF2 is because I found it to be fun, I didn't care for the Star Wars that was part of it...

Yes, it's a VERY old game and yes it's Star Wars, but besides that, it's nearly the same thing and it isn't getting old...

So what's so different about BRINK?

Speaking of which, I'm curious if anyone has played it... I want to know if I'm thinking correctly in terms of gameplay...

I'm a huge SWBF2 fan myself, and I hope SWBF3 is announced in E3. Anyway, i know what you're saying, SWBF2 had command posts you had to take over and you played "multiplayer" type of matches through the campaign and Galactic Conquest. There were different classes you could choose from in the game and each class offered a decent variety, so yeah i can see where you're coming from.

Somewhat..

I would compare SWBF2 to a game like Warhawk or Lost Planet 2.. Not so much Brink.

Sure, Multiplayer is just like Singleplayer... And the similarity ends there.

:P Yeah, thanks for the support, I'm not saying it's the exact thing but it has noticeable characteristics... Maybe that's why I was so driven to this game considering I loved SWBF2 o.O

I actually hated Warhawk, and LP was okay... And I wasn't going by strictly similar, only relatively. CP's, CTF, and just simple TDM's where part of the game, so yes, I see why it can't be the same, but then again, if you look onto the slightly bigger, generalized picture, the games have the same class structure (minus the additional abilities) the same available options (Such as building, repairing, and placing down turrets, or sneaking around with stealth killing enemies) the CP's is just a bit general view of the objectives, but it's hard to compare it to the complexity of the objective structure in this game (even though it's not THAT dense)
