We'll have dual swords, but what about dual shields?

Post » Tue May 10, 2011 11:15 pm

Dual Shields for a pacifics build. All points into Block (obviously), Speechcraft (to get out of most fights without fights), Speechcraft (cause when a fight is required, I bet having a paid for mercenary give a hand might be required) and various tradeskills to make money. Enchant for stronger shields? Smithing to make your own custom high quality shields you'll enchant after? And for a more "offensive" build I guess, taking Conjuration magic (summon beastie, put on shields and wait it out) :D

Confused Turtle ftw!

Stop right there Confused turtle! Die! *attacking shields* I was hoping you'd say that. You shoulda payed the fine!! *hitting shields* aaaah!! (5 minutes later) .....*heavy breathing*.. you shoulda...payed....the fine * passes out*

yeah it should totally be a viable fighting option.... i can see that working. u'd take low damage but hot damn those fights would take forever.. let ur opponents tire til they pass out.

While holding the two shields, you can perform a special move called "The Clapper".

I am lying.

 Nice!

Also people against dual shields, if you don't like it don't bother using it. I believe this hated saying holds truth in this sense anyways.

I don't see the point in restricting the player. Just because it makes little to no sense at the time, doesn't mean it shouldn't be allowed. Here's a thought: Equipping shields to level up defenses faster. Perhaps you want to build up your armorer. The best strategy, however tedious, would be to equip two shields whenever an enemy is about to hit you hard. Your armor rating will increase by that much.
