What about this idea?

What if you don't get xp from doing objectives and crap, but you get A LOT for winning. Many times I find myself disguising myself, then ruining it and disguise again so I can get points, wasting time to get more exp.

I understand there might be a lot of afkers, but SD can do a few things. Add a ban, or people could realize that if they afk they have a less chance of winning.

The fact that most of the time I don't help the team, but instead do random crap as some class and I'm awarded with the same if not more points as if I were helping us win.

If people only got exp for winning, it would inspire everyone to work to win. Not just go off to get some command post (don't lie, you just do it for some points, you know that you can be more efficient) but instead actually TRY to win.

No dude. If anything you should get extra exp for winning, like i can do fine with an extra 1000 exp for winning but that shouldn't be the only way. I mean you get exp for putting one bullet into a guy! What more do you want? Play the game, get kills, take command posts, or just throw grenades! I love LOVE the exp gaining.

Not sure I like this idea. I honestly go for CP's because I can see a benefit. +1, maybe +2 supply pips for EVERYBODY?! Yes please. Especially when you consider that the number is attached not to your current amount, but to your MAX!
That's +1/+2
every time you revive
every time you have a moment to let your pips regenerate (not often, but it does happen)

This also implies a degraded value on the less concrete parts of a team-game, such as interfering with the opposing team's psychology (if there's a disguised operative and they know it, that constant "checking-the-other-person" can give enough of a distraction to get them killed).

And let's face it.... Sometimes, you do the best job of anybody in the game, but you are stuck with a crap team. If you HAVE to lose in this scenario, you might as well get some good xp out of it.

Or that. But right now I have no motive for winning. Maybe a 50%+ for winning? Something big.

But thats the thing about a "crap" team. A team that does random crap to get exp but doesn't help the team. If it was my why, they would all try.

Unless it's their first fps =P

The best ways to earn XP are the ways that help the team. If you're good at throwing down Caltrops in places that get you upwards of 500XP per throw, then that damage and the confusion it causes your enemies will be valuable - especially if you take the time to gun some of the guys down while they're taking damage from the Caltrops. If you're capturing Supply CP, that gives your team a MAJOR boost to their Supplies, and Health CPs improve your WHOLE TEAM'S HEALTH - how much more benefit can you be? Upgrading them further increases those benefits, again for everyone, not just yourself, Firewall protects those bonuses for you. If you have a Cortex Bomb, even dying can help the team - drop, explode, or drop and the enemy knows you COULD explode and stays back, even though you're laying across the objective - it gives you those extra few seconds before they'll approach, or gets you an incap if they don't stay back.

If anything, I'd rather see a small percentage "victory" bonus when your team wins. That way, the more valuable you actually were to the team, the more it rewards you for the victory. I don't think it should be more than a 5% bonus - that's still a solid 500XP if you're getting 10k (which some players can do consistently, and if they do really well, they'll get even more), but it's also possible that it's only going to give a poor player who chose the right team something more along the lines of 100 points extra.

Realistically, though, the XP your team earns when you win is almost always higher than the enemy team's XP anyway - your team did a better job than theirs, so you got rewarded for it more.

I dont see an issue with offering a small bonus for Winning. +5-10% or +1000 wouldnt change much, while rewarding people for playing well.

I think its obvious why SD didnt choose to do this though. They don't want people to switch teams just to get the bonus, since it would make games rather anticlimactic if the losing team all bailed at a point in the game where there's supposed to be the most tension.
