H3RMES Armor : Fallout: New Vegas

I'm thinking that the Hermes helmet would go well with other armors too. It seems like it would work with any combat armor, as well as with power armors.

Oh I know, it does look cool, but for some reason, Pre-War combat armor is amazing to me, I love F1 and 2s, but Fallout 3's combat armor is my favorite armor to date.

I have no problem with using the speculative name for the time being (I'm going to call it Hermes armor to avoid that gay tech 1337 talk). Just seeing if that was the name, since it seems kind of odd since they usaully use general names, like combat armor, or power armor instead of it actual name.

Anywho, I will definitally be wearing "Hermes" armor alot, its what I've always wanted, well besides a pony of course, and my rock, I've always been fond of rocks, I shall name him Charlie, I'm talking about the rock of course, Ponies can't be named Charlie, BLASPHAMY!....but unicorns can.

I name my rock Bruce

The armor looks cool, but I may just stick to traditional combat armor, Or maybe the tuxedo, man that tuxedo is spiffy. But I MIGHT wear the Hermes armor as long as the in game name is Hermes and not Leet Speak.

Leet speak bugs me as well.

Hermes Is just the brand of the antenna makes sense hermes was the messenger god? So the Antenna is called Hermes But wait that is just Speculation because that is all we can do right now... I hope its going to be called Hermes instead of H3RM35

I believe it was 'NCR Ranger Armor' and 'NCR Ranger Helmet'. I'll take that over that dumb 'H3RM35' crap :l

Hermes'll probably be a unique version of the armor. Think Ashur's Tribal Power Armor, Prototype Medic Power Armor and Linden's Outcast Power Armor as opposed to simple Power Armor.

I imagine H3RM3R5 will be the unique variant of the NCR Armor.

NCR Ranger Combat Armor is not intended to be (Van Buren's) Poseidon HERMES armor project reborn. I believe that alphanumeric code on the antenna was added as a superfluous detail by the artist.

I'm wondering how rare the NCR Ranger armor will be? I just need two pairs, for me and my companion. I just hope it's not going to be a Chinese Stealth Suit deal where the coolest armor has only one copy.

I'm honestly getting pretty attached to the NCR Ranger armor now after seeing it everywhere, I've thought up two separate NCR Ranger characters that don't wear anything but it.

If you're on PC you can always replicate it via console command, but seeing as how it's the armor for an entire corps of the NCR army, I think it's safe to say we'll be able to lay our hands on more than one pair.

Yep, Saw it in the Best Buy demo. I'm happy with the name, and it looks awesome in-game. I guess my prediction for the name was pretty close, missed Combat in their though. Also, the Mark 2 Reinforced Combat Armor looks sick.

Don't worry, I have a feeling that it'll be the armor you're hoping for. Call it a hunch.
