I am so excited for FNV

Post » Mon Nov 01, 2010 3:48 pm

I am so stoked for this game. I haven't bought a new game in like 6 months and am hardly on the xbox, but i am so pumped for this. I am the world's biggest sports fan, and when I say I am more excited about FNV than the chargers game this sunday, that means I am absolutely pumped for this. I remember Christmas morning 2 years ago, I got Fallout 3, had no idea about the game. I get through the vault, and there is the shot of the wasteland, it was amazing and from there i was hooked. i spent so many hours playing that game, it was incredible. While I wish FNV was more life and death like Fallout 3, i mean that by FO3 was directly hit by nuclear war and you could see the effects of it. I am a huge The Road and Book of Eli fan, for some demented reason, I love situations where all hope is lost after a great human tragedy, the conditions are terrible, etc, so i wish FNV was like Fallout 3 in that sense, while it is a hopeless time, the city is somewhat rebuilt and there is hope, where i prefer no hope and a mess. Anyways haha, i am stoked for this game and it is going to be amazing!

The amount of moral grey-ness in this game should balance out the amount of cheery blue skies, to the point where it's as - if not more desperate than Fallout 3.

that's good, but i am pumped for FNV, and idk why I have a fascination with books like The Road and movies like Book of Eli, I guess I like to see how humans live in extreme circumstances and how violent and despicable human kind can be. FNV will be epic

I came up with an anology for those who keep blasting the graphics as being to similar to Fallout 3's.

"Thinking New Vegas graphics were going to be better is like thinking the last LOTR should of been like Avatar 3d

You know what I'm exited for? Ultra Luxe.
Ever since that first look with the air-walking gambler it's been the only thing in my head!
Seriously, screw doing anything else in the game, I need to get in to Ultra Luxe.
I will devote myself to getting to The Strip as fast as goldfishisly possible!

I can't study for my midterms since I can't stop thinking about NV! Good thing I'm a star crammer.

I was able to offset my anxiety waiting for the game by playing Dead Rising 2. In about 2 weeks I power-leveled to the 50 cap. Although the mindless zombie slaughter was quite enjoyable, aside from a few leftover trophies, I'm ready to put that game aside and start on FONV. That reminds me, I should probably pre-order the Strategy guide from Amazon... =p

I had a betta fish once named Sashimi (a type of sushi minus the rice and the seaweed wrap).

He is no longer with us, so you are free to steal the name... =p
