Nice to see that you are still around the OB forum and finally decided to get into the modding aspect instead of just archiving the mods (though Just is not really the right wording for the amount of dedication you have had with that !!) -- This is a nice resource and I'm sure we will be seeing them pop up in many mods to come. -- and BTW don't forget to add it to your LIST !! :goodjob:

Although the 'stick figure' comment was a personal joke between Buddah, and myself I did find this>>>>

Guess you're off the hook for creating one Buddah :P

I look forward to your, and the team's other releases. I really like the frosted rose glass one posted above..........Very nice.

LOL, Nico and I go way back to the release of Oblivion....and the joke is a long standing one. All I can draw or paint are stick people, the problem is they are always fat !

That is no joke it is a statement of fact....terrible hand eye coordination.

the image itself it not of any great import, but the transparency and color depth is the effect I was going for.

Any comments on how it looks is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Micky

I think maybe one more sweep with the eraser tool on medium opacity could work a little bit better but they look really nice! Given any thought to see how the textures would look with Oblivion's window reflect effect?

While I used the display case for convience, the dds renders on both sides of the mesh as that is how the mesh is uv mapped, it also rotated the dds 90 degrees counter clockwise. So it appears brighter when viewed straight on. At an angle it will show you the offfset. But it is a proof of concept, nothing more.

Here is the same dds on a different mesh.

This is a mesh with a single render, not doubled like the large case.

It renders at a higher transparency and the colours are softer.

I will be adding the frosted glass texture to Imperial Furniture Renovated, but I would also like to make a request. Could you do a "geometric" version of the rose frosted glass texture? Basically something like http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab118/AndalayBay/Oblivion/glass_etching.jpg? My artistic talents are severely limited, but I was trying to achieve a three dimensional bevelled effect :) So it would be a grooved look...

Thanks for the beautiful textures!
