I have just reinstalled Oblivion and downloaded the new Refscope, I started a new game and am in the dungeon, I saved and went back to the game later and now I get a message saying I am using an older version of refscope but all I did was continue my game, I did make sure I have the newest Refscope but I'm still getting the same message.
Anyone have any idea why?

Edit: I did a clean save then continued my game, a little later saved and exited then restarted again and it is still giving me the same message. I'm really not sure what to do now.

Cheeka, it's a bug in RefScope 2.1.1 caused by my rush to push out a quick fix for a different bug in 2.1.0. Look for a 2.1.2 later tonight.

Don't mess with my psychic abilities. I thought you'd answered it in your post yesterday, didn't realize there was more than one spot the version number was wrong, my mistake.

Yeah, I was in a hurry to fix the savegame-bloat bug in 2.1.0 before more people downloaded it, so I didn't do enough testing on 2.1.1, and managed to botch both uploads of it (though in relatively minor ways).

In the meantime, you can ignore the erroneous message about having downgraded RefScope. It's harmless.

Sorry I should have posted on the mod thread, I couldn't find it but then again maybe I just missed it. Thank you for answering anyhow just glad I wasn't doing anything stupid
