Killing Cazador crashes game.

I have not been able to play for nearly a week now because of a game ending bug I'm having.

Killing any Cazador bee, crashes my game to the desktop.

I've updated every driver that I can, restarted, no mods, re-downloaded the game from steam, changed between every video setting I can think of. Still nothing fixes this.
Even after downloading the game again, doing the steam's verify integrity of game cache finds one error no matter how many times in a row I run it. It says it's downloading the file again.

Short of losing 40ish hours of a save file... again.... Has anyone else run across any 100% repeatable game crashes when killing a mob? And what fixed it?

If you start a new game do you still have this problem? I realize killing a Cazador at level one isn't easy but you could always give yourself a boost with console commands first or use TCL to get above them so they aren't a threat.

Thanks I might have just fixed it somehow. Someone on our mumble server had the same problem with another mob. He turned off the Steam cloud and his fixed it.

So far I've killed 2 of them and no crash. We'll see tho.

EDIT: nope.. spoke too soon.. This time it didn't crash until after I killed a few of them.

Just did what you said to do and killing them does fine :/

This is my 2nd corrupt save file now.

I've put a good 60+ hours into this game. I'm almost about to give up on this.
