Stats site idea

So the developers don't want k/d as a stat, I can respect that seeing what it did to COD. Considering you get points for shooting people, I have a better idea. How about damage points given vs. taken? Then damage points given near main objectives, HE charges successfully blown, syringes given near main objectives etc. Maybe even damage points given vs. taken in each class? Just an idea, feel free to disagree/discuss.

so i either agree with you or i disagree and want KD? ?_? no vote.

just some regular stats is fine for me as long KD isnt sitting at the top like yeah im king for doing this

I like the idea of a well implemented stats page that supports teamwork.
Stats like how many objectives you've completed and total life as certain classes would be awesome.
K/D? No thanks.
I don't even think Damage taken v Damage done is a worthwhile stat. It's basically K/D in disguise. Damage healed as a medic is useful though.
If you need a ratio to brag about then have a Wins/Loss ratio. That way people will have to play with the team to win to get any bragging rights.

I think XP earned for damage would be a better stat to track, personally.

MAYBE track number of kills (since we already get to see the "most kills" person on the scoreboard anyway). But not deaths.

EDIT: Also, tracking damage taken isn't really valid either, because that can be both good and bad, depending on circumstances - running into enemy fire while blazing away and dying in a hopeless suicide charge might be wasteful, but charging in to revive or buff a teammate, or to keep the enemy's attention while a teammate completes the objective is a good reason to take damage - and there's NO way for the game to track which you're doing.
