Hotkeys

So with Skyrim's approach to weapon and spell usage do you think the use of hotkeys will be revamped?. Will there be a set of hotkeys for each hand?

Being that I will buy Skyrim for the XBOX I am wondering how it would work being able to dual wield, use spells, torches and shields all assigned to the D-pad. Whats your take?

Edit: found this info on another site. Each hand has a quick menu you can access to quickly change whatever you have equipped. It was assumed earlier that the quick menu only allowed you to select loadouts for both hands at the same time.

as i've understood it, pressing up on the d-pad opens your favourite menu for each of your hands.

I Hate working on Keys, it Distracts me from Gameplay and then i just want to throw the Game away. :brokencomputer:

It worries me how Busy i will be with Skyrim, instead of relaxing while pressing a Button here and there.

The Half Life Series are my Favourite Games, because i Love how the PC Keys are set to My Liking. :D

A Game can be as Incredible as it is, but if i find myself to busy with Other Settings, FORGET Skyrim. :flamethrower:

If you don't like hotkeys, don't use them? I assume that's what you've done in every previous TES title.

Well, I imagine my hotkeys on the PC will be as follows:
1. Longsword for main hand
2. Second longsword for off-hand
3. Fire spell for off-hand
4. Fire spell for main hand (for the dual-spell effect)
5. Defensive spell for off-hand
6-0. Other spells for the off-hand

The only alternative I could think of is that they would let us have two sets of hotkeys, one for each hand, which we switch with - and =.

Either case is great.
