In F3 the game made an automatic save before the end and now i hear that in FNV that there will be a message that tells you that if you continue on the game will end. But my question is if you wanted to complete the game and still play on your current character could you go back to a previous save, say one you make just after that message comes up?

No you can't play after the end. You can load a save at anytime.

Technically, no playing after the end, but you can probably load up a save just before the end.

Yes, It will autosave once you reach the point of no return. They will make it very clear.

Yeah it'll create an autosave for you when it gives you that message.

Ok because I was hoping that I could complete the game and then go do more exploring just as I did in F3.

Ok so there will be an actual ending but what does that mean for any saves made before,can you still load them and play from before the end?

yes you can load any previous save file you had.

edit: the reason for this is once the game ends, say "for instance" the strip blows up or something then if you could play after the game was over the strip would be gone and it would be pointless to play.

If you save before the point of no return you can keep exploring the wastelands just don't go into that area where the point of no return is. If I was in that part of the main quest for the 1st time I'd make multiple saves just in case of screwing up and getting into the point of no return.

Yea that is a good point.I will proabably end up doing the same thing just to be safe.Ah can't wait till Tuesday!

I like the fact there is a way to end the game, i just hope there isnt any stupidly broken items that you get at the end ( I.E Fable 1)
