I'm just going to add my voice to the chorus of congrats to everyone (but especially to Blaven for starting this and Rammite for ending it) on this beautiful piece of fan-fiction. I had dropped reading this thread everyday because my life has gotten super busy with final exams, and it was quite a wonderful shock to see it concluded in this way.

I can't see him joining the Resistance after they just killed his sister and were responsible for the death of his father. I don't think I would join the people who murdered the only family I had left.

Actually, the Security murdered his father via mortar strike.

I tried to make it so both the Security and the Resistance looked equally violent against the Mummy, but I can see that didn't work out :c

Actually, I think the balance in both factions hostility towards the Mummy in the end was perfectly pulled off. With Rebecca being murdered by Resistance and The Mummy being killed via Security.

*Laughs* Yeah, I had originally planned on having the Mummy meet with every pre-order character, like the Doom Pack (Security Version), and the Fallout Pack (Resistance Version), and he was supposed to eventually find a green eye attachment. I just had forgotten my original concept for adding them in.

Whoooo, can't tell you how excited I got when I saw this thread up on the front page.

I'll look into cleaning up the two threads for a story-only version. If me or Blaven decide to do that, I wouldn't expect work to start until a week, what with BRINK's release and all.

EDIT: So that's a no. Decided we should keep it as it's original glory.
