DLC, What would you rather see.

I'd prefer earning the items or the structures after I download them, as opposed to just acquiring them upon entering the game.

I'd rather have a full blown expansion, but that seems unlikely.

IMO there shouldn't be any simple item DLCs at all. Waste of money. They should just stick to the (mini) expansions, like the FO3 DLC or (even better) Shivering Isles.

Not something like The Orrery, which had a quest involving killing a bandit who stole something (A quest that I could've created in 5 minutes myself. :P) before you get access to the building with something that's supposed to be useful inside.

They should go back to doing expansions. I hate DLC so none of the above

Beth would never make an instant equipment DLC, it breaks gameplay balance and I'd much, much rather work for the items, no way in hell I'm paying 4.99$ for a different looking sword and nothing else...

A lot of the estates in Oblivion DLC you immediately got them without doing anything except for buying furniture. Like the wizards tower, and Battlehorn Castle.

I understand where your coming from with expansions, but expansions ( to me ) are DLC only bigger. I don't mind a few DLC's. If you buy a few DLC's it's basically an expansion anyway, just has different areas etc. Another benefit to DLC is we'll get more than one. Say they did one big expansion, and some people weren't to keen, then they only have the expansion. But different DLC might appeal to more people, because they can chose which they like...hope that makes sense. The DLC's for fallout 3 were ok in size i thought, and there was 5 overall ...i think.

Don't get me wrong, bloodmoon, tribunal, and the shivering isles were exellent,so i do see where your coming from. But either way,i'll probably buy them. There is benefits to both. DLC can have more benefits,as in choice, rather than one expansion. If someone doesn't like the sound of the expansion, they ain't going to buy it. So say, they did 5-6 DLC's that increases the chances of someone buying something, because they have more of a choice. I'm one of those people who is happy either way :)

quite honestly I've only ever bought one DLC in my life, and that was the mage tower thing for OB.. I really cannot stress how bad I think they are. Expansions allow for much greater storyline addons and large areas to explore in one go. With DLC you max get a few extra hours to a world you most likely already have explored once the DLC comes out, making it feel quite empty.

As a xbox 360 user,i still think it's unfair that DLC is xbox first or xbox exclusive. We all buy the game,so we should all be able to get extra content,be it DLC or expansion.

Though, some will ask the question: If microsoft are willing to pay more money to make money ( DLC exclusive ),why aren't sony doing the same for their fans?
It is a question worth thinking about, but it's still unfair. It's down to bethesda really.

Search button is your friend if your really interested in seeing what people want (or dont) regarding DLC's a whole thread on the same subject AGAIN is not needed.

otherwise making threads just to make them is getting annoying.
