Something sadly common in translated games.
From my experience, there are not a lot of companies who provide top notch translations and voice actors as good as the originals for the translated versions.
One that does it very well is Ubisoft Montreal, since their staff is half-french. They deliver perfect translated versions of their game and hire some of the best french voice actors in Quebec.
It's too bad that France must have French-only versions of foreign games.
Stores do sell french versions here, but as I mentioned, most of them are horribly translated and the price is around 20$ more than the original versions.
En passant: La langue à utiliser sur les forums officiels est l'anglais.
By the way: The board's only language to communicate on the official boards is English.
