When i start the game and go to downloadable content option it says no new content available. When I open Stream there is no patch, nor link to a patch listed. OK where do I go from here? Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

If Steam has been running in the background it probably updated it without you knowing. Right click the FalloutNV.exe and select Properties>Details and see what it says. Latest is 1.2.0.285.
