Classic Problems

I have this game for a while, there are two issues I've been ignoring because I was concentrating on making custom contents. These two problems has grown to be quite annoying and I decided to get to the bottom of it. After hour of search with google and on popular forums, nothing of the sort came up so it seems that these old issues have been solved long time ago and nowadays there aren't any openly reachable documents on them. So I will break the jar again and ask:

1. Head show up in lighter color than the body in game, how to fix it? This is more than texture coloring as the head in NifSkope actually is a bit darker than the body.

2. When teleporting to a different location, custom companion(Using ResidentEvil's old Neeshka mod) will have two layers of the head mesh after arriving. Have to respawn the char by asking her to change equipment to get rid of the extra head. What is the typical fix for that?

Greatly appreciate any help or links resolving the two issues!

Are you using the UOP? or Wrye Bash? Both have a fix for the double problem.

I'm guessing you have a body replacer mod. There really isn't much you can do other than download additional textures and try to find one that more closely matches.

aellis, thanks for the response, I'm using wyre bash, what would be the function should I look for?

As for the other issue, how did people create totally identical skin tone with different set of textures, is there a more detailed guide?

If you want the head and body to match, Install Luchair's Body seam reducer, then Improved Facial Textures and then F-INev Skinset. Note that this works for default races only, unless a custom race uses a default race's textures.

After installing all that, If you want perfect skin for your character, just reset the character and leaving the skin tone as is, makes it perfect. Then you can adjust the other parts of the face.
