what do you guys think and possibly hope we find when we search a dead dragon we just killed? if we can search them

I would like to cut open their bellies and search they recent, half-digested, meals, be that an adventurer with a enchanted sword or a bag of gold

Unless their bodies disappear once you consume their magical essence.

I'd be satisfied with aborbing their soul to learn a new dragon shout, lol.

It'd be rather strange to loot a dragon and find 12 gold pieces, yarn, a lesser soul gem, and callipers.

It sounds to me like the main reward for killing dragons is their souls, which considering they're needed to improve one's ability to use dragon shouts is a worthy reward I suppose, though if we could loot anything from their corpses, I suppose it could always be scales, which could then be used to make dragon scale armor.

I hadn't thought of looting a dragon untill now actually. I know that after killing a dragon you get a new shout, so this was all that occured to me but it could make sense I suppose to find something off them if their corpse stays.

Im imagining some sort of unique item similar to how you got Sigil stones in OB; could be used for enchanting or unlocking a special weapon, armor, etc.

I hope they make absorbing obtional, so that if I find a piece of dragon armor better than a war cry I could do it instead :/

Well, the one dragon fight we've seen in the released trailer appeared to end with the dragon's body disintegrating. :shrug:

Of course there are some unknown details...if absorbing the soul is optional, if that's what causes the disintegration or if they disintegrate no matter what you do, and if they're lootable assuming one can be made to leave a corpse behind.

As for finding...if Oblivion is anything to go by, some Alchemy ingredients. Dragon's teeth/scales/claws. But that's entirely speculation.

I'm hoping we find some scales for making armor, some gems, and misc alchemy ingredients.
