Thought i would share this message i got and what i think about it, the writer will remain anonymous until he/she/it feels its unneeded

People shut them down and it annoys the heck out of me, the people who shut it down have no grasp of what fun weapons are, and they ruin threads, I got suspended because I told a guy what I thought of his posts... game forums have never been very fair, they like to have fan boys sprouting about how the game is perfect and needs nothing new...
My response:
Amen man, totally true. There are many radicals who are very anti-COD who wont listen to an idea that is in any way shape or form in a COD game and it does annoy me! Some ideas i like, like the idea of a crossbow or a normal bow.

Seriously, stop shooting down ideas just because the idea has been in COD! An idea is meant to make the game better, not every idea belongs to COD but they way you people go around it you act as if everything besides whats already there is COD. Even though you don't like COD please, don't let it get in the way of decision making because once someone sees something and totally disregards it they rant and rant and rant. I bet 95% of Anti-COD ideas were not though of as it being in the game, but from the COD experience. Personally, i don't prefer COD, but i like some of the things it has; and i love Brink, I've been a supporter since a month before release and i'm one of the people who have fun in the game.
I go to the forums to talk about the game and to make the game better, not to destroy every other idea.

So I spend over an hour riding the forum of posts such as that, pointing out how to post and how not to flamebait and you make a thread to bring it up?????

If you see such posts, report them and let the moderator take care of it, we are more than happy to do so. But please don't add fuel to the fire by making threads about it.
