I'm talking about multiplayer. If you just sit back and relax, then you're going to get over run and 'spawncamped'... Which in truth is only preventing you to do your objective in an early stage of the game.
Again, offense isn't supposed to have it easy considering they don't have a wide open space to run around in, instead they have a tiny objective that they have to move through the streets with and defend (CCity)
Try thinking it from a realistic perspective other than a fairness one... Think of the D-Day landing in 1944... Did the Allies have an easy time? No, they pushed in with bad losses to hold the area. (Of course they didn't spawn back, durr ;D)
I know I'm talking from real life, but that's the point of this game, a bit of realism never hurts to be added.
This isn't about map design for me, I'm well aware that in most attackers vs. defenders FPS games the maps will favor the defender... my issue is with the AI balance, and the fact that I was pushed back to my spawn because the enemy is performing at human-level, skill-wise and tactics-wise, whilst you are left with bots that have [censored] for brains.
I shouldn't have to carry the team. I know offense should be difficult, but it's made all the more difficult because I'm the only player who's pulling his weight and I always wind up with 2k more XP than the next bot, occasionally I have over double the XP of the top bot.
Fact is, if this was an MP-only game I possibly wouldn't have bought it... definitely not preordered. The game needs to be able to stand on it's SP mode for people like me who have terrible connections.
