Missing Texture/Mesh with FCOM

I finally got FCOM and some other mods installed and working together without killing my game, i was hoping to start working on adding in the final few mods/tweaks i wanted today, but i ran into a hiccup or two that i'm hoping someone can help me out with.

I went all the way through the startof the game (i.e the caves and small section of sewer) as well as the immediate surround outside of where you first come outside on and ran around the Market District, but when i went inside the Vilverine Runes (or whatever their called) i ran into this...

Here's another screenshot of the inventory of the dead enemy: http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i186/DM_Phantomizer/ScreenShot1.jpg i have the strange feeling that the offending item is the Classical Bow, but then i'm no expert, that....thing, remained there even after clearing the dead enemy's inventory..

Now i have everything properly setup, i downloaded BOSS, so load order isn't an issue, there are however two incidents that come to mind which may or may not be related.

1)
I accidentally skipped installing the UOP, i was following this guide http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/fcominstall.html and it simply said to install MMM, i KNOW MMM requires the UOP, but since the FCOM guide made absolutely no mention of it, i figured we'ld be getting to that point later or FCOM simply didn't need it. I finished installing FCOM and botted up the game, it crashed immediately after getting to the load screen so i went back and this time studied the expanded load order page where i saw that the UOP was needed, i downloaded and installed that via Wrye Bash and then proceeded to re-install MMM, Fran's, WarCry, Bob's Armory as well as the USIP and USIP_MOBS_1-4 and lastly, FCOM itself again. Back to the game, everything works perfectly, or at least, the game doesn't crash.

2)
When i got to the Oblivion WarCry mod, i downloaded that and the update available and installed it vie Wrye Bash, however, despite the package containing an esm/esp, they weren't installed on the data directory and i don't know if it has anything to do with it, but this mod and update both appear on the Wrye Bash Installers page in light grey color, no idea if that means anything. I wasn't sure what to do, so i left it as it is and proceeded with everything else.

I'm running Oblivion + SI Expansion updated to the latest Official Patch, no official addons. Here's the complete list of mods and tweaks i'm running with it.

I think the Classic Bow is from Fran's. If so, double check that you have the bsa for Fran's Optional Items Addon and that you got it loaded. See the http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/convergence.html for details. Also, you can use http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21862 or http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16704 to check which mod it comes from ingame.

EDIT: BTW, you should update FCOM to UFCOM. MMM 3.7b3p3 requires it. See http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1143831-relz-fcom-convergence-and-ufcom/ for download link.

There is a second problem as well that i forgot to add in the first post.

I'm playing on 1680 x 1050 (monitor's native resolution) and full screen, my desktop cursor is frequently overlapping my game, i move the crosshairs/view in-game towards the top of the screen or one of the upper or lower corners and the desktop cursor pops up in game, this is leading to much wanted frustration like clicks not registering in-game and unintended minimizing of the game. I don't think it's my Anti Virus like someone else suggested, i have it completely turned off when i play.

I have the bsa from Fran's, do i also have to add it to the oblivion.ini? because it's not in there.

Thanks for the heads up on FCOM, if i can patch it, i'll see about updating, if i have to start from scratch, nty, i've already done enough re-installs of Oblivion to last me a good long time :(

No idea really, but a quick Google search pointed to Xfire causing it with Oblivion. If that's not it - no idea as said.

I do have Xfire, but i don't use it atm, haven't used it in ages. But thanks anyways.

Having nothing better to try, i registered that bsa in the oblivion.ini and the problem seems to be fixed, at least the Classical Bow is properly rendered.

Windows Vista/7 is to blame for this issue, running Oblivion in Admin Mode fixed the issue......stupid OS <_<

Now i can FINALLY enjoy Oblivion :P

Get either of the following 2 mods, and use it to identify the missing resource:
FormIDFInder
RefScope

Then you can troubleshoot once you identify what exactly is missing.
