Sup everyone, first post of these forums. Just wondering, if I buy this game for PC will the achievements I unlock get added to my xbox live gamerscore? As you can see I'm not a pc gamer so idk this stuff. Thanks.

no, you get Steam achievements, however I'm not sure if you can link your live account to your steam account, but I rather doubt it.

That svcks, I was hoping it would be connected to xbl cause the gunplay for fallout 3 seemed kinda awkward on the 360 compared to other shooters for some reason. Felt like it was harder to hit targets at longer range. I think it's because the crosshairs didn't follow the target so I wanted to get it for pc so it would be easier to aim :(

Seems you have 3 choices:

1. Get it for Xbox and have crappy aiming
2. Get it for PC and don't care about Xbox score
3. Get it for both.

PC version allows modding so its the better option if you can run it.

The question is:
Would you rather get your gc up or have more fun ;)

The thing is, getting achievments gives you something to do when you beat the game, but if they go towards my steam account (which i havent used since CS:Source) then it seems pointless to get them so I won't be motivated to go the extra mile.

Also here are my pc specs, do you think I can run ity smoothly on graphical setting equals or higher than the 360?

Dual core 3.1Ghz
4 GB ram
GPU: GTX 460
windows 7 64-bit

Much better than the 360. And, take satisfaction in a game well played. That will get you to go the xtra mile. Just like you don't need a badge on your arm to have honor, you don't need a high gamer score to be great gamer.

Ok well I guess I will get it for PC. Also what kind of mods can we expect to see? Could be fun running around with like unlimited ammo for a powerful gun and mowing everything down :)
