Anyone elses character not actually showing up as created in any game modes? I've played all modes and not one do I play as the character I created – weapons and abilities are all there but my character isn't? Am playing on 360.

Same happens to me sometimes

My character is white, has no tattoos.. Why is he black with flaming ones in-game sometimes?

it takes a while to load. same happend with me, take like 10-15 min and if you continue play to the next map, he will be loaded

Yeah, same here occasionally. I've seen my whole team (me included) of bots all look the exact same.
This changed after a couple of minutes after myself, and the bots, started dying, but it is a glitch nonetheless.

I've also noticed that when you boot the game up and select any one of your characters and play any type
of match your character's voice will be that of the last character you created. I created a Jamaican-looking,
and sounding, fellow about 4 days ago (the last character I created) and his voice is all I hear when using
my other characters when I play a match after booting up. Once again, this changes at some point after a
couple of rounds, a couple of quits, and some editing to different characters, but it's still a bug and should be
addressed at some point. Although they have more pressing issues to worry about right now.

Ah ok, must admit haven't checked later in the session... Definitely not right though – but agreed there are bigger problems to deal with!

I think it's a client side issue: (meaning it is only seen by you)


Hack first terminal:: I look like the default light (armor only)(you know, all the red and gray "the look" equipment.)
Hack second terminal:: I look the way I intended ( all super bad-___ )


Someone with a server, and that cares would have to test this, to find if it is client, or server based, in any case, it's not for the entire mission/campaign. And who cares! Go capture that command post maggot!

It was funny, first time I hopped into versus MP I saw some guy who was IDENTICAL to me, I [censored] my pants.

I wound up wasting half my ammo firing at him because I thought he was an enemy Operative, didn't occur to me to look for the name "Super-Pangolin" above his head... which it wasn't. >_>

A match later it sorted itself out though.

The character models are very bizarre in game. Sometimes my guy looks like another one of my characters, sometimes he looks random. But... my teammates often look random to me as well (as in, I say 'nice mohawk' and the guy responds 'I have a hard hat') and sometimes the opposing team all look like clones of some random character. Even more bizarre, when they die (For real, not just incapacitated) they change appearance from Clone to what they apparently actually look like. Its very weird.

Happened to me a few times. No longer though.

Still does happen to me, in fact I think its a multiple character glitch, I have about 6 characters (I like being given the choice to be one of many), and I kid you not, throughout the same mission I turned into 4 characters two of them were my created characters, it was kinda like this:

• Opening cutscene: Old guy with beard (created character)
  
• Start of match: The bug
  
• Mid-match cutscene: The Eel
  
• Last part of match: The Good cop
  
• End cutscene: MY INTENDED CHARACTER!

Funny nonetheless.

Yeah this happens to me a fair bit. Particularly weird is when in skins me as a character I deleted several days ago. Oh, also:

I had a white blonde-dude with a Mask and prison-stripes kind of clothing (only character I had), but I had sense of perspective when I noticed my dude was an African-American with dreadlocks and
exposed face and totally different clothing, lol. However, when I went to the next map, he went back to his normal self. ^_^

Wow, finally someone else with this problem. I've made numerous threads on this site and the SP site with no response. It's been happening to me on a regular basis in the public and co-op matches. It's starting to piss me off cuz i can't use my own custom chars. Instead they show me as someone else during gameplay. The only time my char shows up right is in solo campaign mode. The voices do the same thing. Xbox360.

needs to be patched!

Mostly happens to me when I down someone, and after realkilling them they turn into ... well ... someone else. I find it immersion-breaking, which sounds strange referring to an FPS, but there you go. Jarring.

a way of fixing this is if you go to your command post and change class usually that fixes it to where you look like your guy and of course you can switch back to the class you want

Same problems as all mentioned above.

I wish that worked for me,instead i have to play a few matches without backing out before i see my customized char come into the game. Either way they have to fix this asap. Along with the lag and dumb bots of course.

You have ONE CHARACTER that can be switched between RESISTANCE and SECURITY! That is why you have different characters showing in game depending on your team! You can also customize both sides of what your main character will look like.
