Floatind Arrows

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 4:05 pm

Seems like I've even seen them in Vanilla, sometimes you enter a dungeon or whatever, there'll be (often crossed) arrows floating in the air, you can't "activate"them or interact at all, could be just one, or several (I've seen at least 6 before, and was able to eliminate them one at a time by changing my angle of veiw)...

*Other than I can't Spell :whistling:

I know what you're talking about but i don't know what causes it. What's happening is it's all the arrows that have been shot at you that for some reason when you travel some place or enter a room end up floating in front of you. I'll have to look but I might have a screenshot of what you're talking about.

Happens to me as well, don't think you should be worried unless it happens everywhere you go. I remember that it happened in a completely vanilla game back in 2006 as well. I usually see these arrows once every ~10 hours of playtime or so and I don't care about it. It's just a minor bug that looks strange, but doesn't cause any harm as far as I can tell.

As was mentioned I believe it happens when you have arrows sticking out of your body when you travel through a door and there is still time left before they would normally disappear from your body (they will disappear in a short time once you are in the room long enough for the timer to expire on them. Happens in the vanilla game so not much can be done to avoid it other than looking at your character before using a door to ensure there are not any arrows in you !

Ok, Thank's, I'll have to keep that in mind, (if I've got arrows in me, I'll have to try and find them when I pass through a door) :twirl:
