How about a bow or crossbow with poisoned arrows or other gr

A choice in melee weapons would be cool, (bat, knives, pipes, etc) but not really needed. I would like the operatives spike genades to be stronger. A flame thrower might be nice too. The parkour for light bodies should be very athletic....sought of like Lara Croft flipping and shooting at the same time. How fun would a taser rifle be in this game? haha. Smoke bombs and thermal goggles might add elemental tactics....along with incendiary nades.
i would approve of a bat for a light get my TF2 on.

This. A small, two-shell shotgun for lights would be good though.

Yeah, Double Barrel shotguns are a good idea for a civil war in 2045.

Bow and arrows do much less damage then bullets, though a short through the heart or jugular would certainly deal great amounts of damage, if not killing them. However, the Kevlar vest would completely block the arrow.
Crossbow bolts would actually do quite a bit of damage, but reloading it will take longer than the Barnett, with only half the damage output.
Throwing knifes couldn't kill unless you squarely penetrate the ribs or neck, and Kevlar would make that a large deal harder.
Tomahawks are useless unless you have the skill to hit the neck, and that's hoping Kevlar only affects the chest.

Oh I'm sorry, what a stupid post I've made! I'll go edit that to something thoroughly sensible right now :)

Why would u want a weapon to debuff a target? if u have them in the cross hairs wouldn't it just be more effective to kill them?
if anything i say give ops a "sap" ability to use while disguised

I would love to see the addition of a new class: Assassin. their entire job is to one-shot an enemy and then try to escape to do it all over again. they could use a sword and be equipped with a stealth cloaking device at rank 3 or 4

ahve you ever played monday night combat?

I dont agree with any of these ideas. We need actually guns and not cheap shoddy knock-offs. To be honest, I would like to see a juggernaught type of charcater. Maybe a heavy with a huge metal plate shielding in one hand and an SMG in the other. Make a weapon that refers to the enviroment in BRINK. Maybe a destinilation weapon that chokes the enemy with a jolt of gravified H2O. Its like Portal, you have to think with "Portals"; just like with Brink you have to think with Brink.

Other: Flechette Pistol (the light's shotgun)
'Whippet' style 20ga. shotgun (the other light shotgun) [stockless, short barell, box ammo] inaccurate, damage drop off beyond 3m, slow to draw - pull the trigger - ewwww lunchmeat
Ruger Super Redhawk (future styled) 9 1/2" barrel

Really can't see this game needs more guns though.

Ah wow we get to choose from a bunch of Cod/tf2 gimmick weapons, thank you..

I want non of them in a dlc.

I like the current diversity of the guns, so only gun dlc I would like are reskins of current weapons.

I kinda like this idea...some what. It reminds me of "Rainbow six vegas" where you can equipt your dude with a riot shield. It would probably be cool to have your teammates follow this guy (with shield out) through a choke point....protecting himself and another player or two directly behing him...hmm
