Fun shotgun rounds

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 1:09 pm

Well, although I'm British and don't really own a shotgun, I found http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread467621/pg1
full of fun shotgun ammo that would be fun in FNV

happy gaming

p.s. if I should have posted this in the mega thread then feel free to say so.

No it's just that ever since that nasty raol mote incident the gun laws have really tightened up. not that they were soft in the first place.

I wish the engine was slightly updated so that we could see more realistic bullet wounds on our enemies. That would make the shotgun rounds really fun. Maybe we do have that update, I wouldn't know anyways.

I believe he is referring to the fact that legally owning a firearm in Britain is much more difficult than it is in America, where all us cowboys and good old boys can walk around with shotguns in our trucks and pistols in our belts and every grandmother owns a .45. :goodjob:

Those shotgun shells and loads do sound very fun. But then I become a little horrified knowing they are available to the general public, who, unlike myself, have not had years of intense professional firearms training under supervision of the government. Specifically some of the shells that are listed as "impossible to aim".

And is "semi-nonlethal" even a real term? Isn't something either potentially lethal or not lethal? Do we really want ammo that apparently determines how lethal it is at the toss of a coin?

It means that the rounds can kill if they're (mis)used. A beanbag round, for example, is quite fatal up to 10-15 feet.
