With those specs you'll have no problem running Skyrim.

Tri SLI 580s?

Uh...if you bought that stuff, and don't know it's capabilities. Return it, and get a new hobby.

Also, what mobo supports 2 i7 extremes, Mr. Troll?

Why does everyone put " I don't know " in their polls? If I wouldn't know I would answer the poll...

Anyway, of course you could run skyrim with that, heck, you can probably turn a third of the graphic options in crysis 2 to max and have over 4 fps, which is good.

Upgrade the RAM and GPU at least to run it resonably...

Actually Crysis 2 seems to be less demanding then the original. I ran it all on max with a full 60FPS the majority of the time and never dropping below 45. (Just finished it about an hour ago)

As to the OPs question. I want to know where he got 1TB 10,800RPM drives. And a mobo that supported two i7 extremes.

Ironically the OPs build probably wouldnt run the game that great. Since the game is probably not going to have support for more then 4 threads (if even that) and most likely not have really good Crossfire/SLI scaling. Also the OPs build only has 8GB.....on a mobo that supports triple channel memory.

Yeah, these really transparent "See my awesome new comp! Drool, peasants!" threads are getting a bit annoying.

(And this one ups the ante by making it a poll. )

People are going Insane with these PC Requirements for Skyrim, yet we dont even know the Recommended Requirements for Portal 2 coming in April.

I will get Portal 2 with the PC i have now, but in October/November, i will Buy the i7-960 and a Graphics Card 570 Hopefully by November the 580 and the i7-970 is Cheaper.

People need to Chill till October the least, you are Wasting an Insanely amount of Money for Nothing right now.

Until the specs are released no one knows the minimum requirements, and that will not be for a while yet. Looking at the OP's question this topic seems redundant and has turned somewhat spammy.
