I'm doing the quest right now where you either help the NCR or the Powder Gangers. My problem is that I would like to help the Powder Gangers but I am currently shunned by them so there is no way for me to get to Eddie to tell him the NCR is coming. Is there any way to get the Powder Gangers to let me in again without being shot at? In other words can I change my status with them in any way?

AFAIK, the Powder Gangers aren't in the story long enough to really join as a faction... no merchants etc.

Really I see them as a missed faction, along with the other minor factions..

My first play through I joined them thinking "Oh maybe I can get the Bad Ass Prison Mafia to take over New Vegas. Sweet."

Turns out a lot of the faction are just used or not even included in the end, which kind of basically circles your choices between NCR, Caesars Legion, House, Or yourself.

Still pretty fun to see how everything turns out though..

Bah. The Powders don't play a part in the endgame, but they have a perfectly functional little city there in the prison. They do have a merchant, a doctor, quests to do, etc.

Gagnon39, have you tried wearing Powder Ganger clothes? That usually works to get you past aggressive people. Once you get inside and help them, hopefully they will start liking you again.
