Firstly my thanks for taking a look at this and my apologies if I've placed it wrong

So, Earlier tonight after a whole week of work (damn that work thing we must do) I finalised my Oblivion install.
Fully modded, tweaked etc using OMM,BOSS and Wyre Bash and truely t'was a thing of beauty. I'l stress the point that it was fully working at this point.
I exited out to change a texture, preferring the origional for the Anthrowolf race to the black i had been using, did the switch etc and...
Oblivion.exe seems to have died,

Each one tries to start (I get the little black box in the corner, the tab shows up along the toolbar) and then just..dies, straight to desktop as if I'd never clicked. Oddly theres no crash report, windows doesn't consider whatevers happening to be a problem.
Install was good, placed in C:\Users\*Me*\Documents\My Games\Oblivion
I've spent the last while trying to find any similar posts and come up dry.

The only guess I have is the texture is bad. I don't know why that would prevent the game from loading initially though. Try removing that texture and regenerating you Oblivion.ini (by deleting it).
