So I preordered from Walmart

And they sent a email saying that it has been shipped. I checked the tracking and its says its here just sitting at the local fed ex. Does fed ex allow you pick up packages early. I guess I should ask them instead.

Most definitely. They don't care about release dates. As long as it isn't in the system as "our for delivery" you should be able to call them and scoop it up from the distro center.

On a side note, looks like I shoulda bought from Walmart.

Release date shipping only cost 99 cents.

If you're able to, go ahead.

I just wouldn't play while connected to the internet if you have the console version. Xbox LIVE and PSN aren't too fond of people playing games before they're technically released.

No dice people. The fed ex lady called the local place and the local guy said that the package was still with all the other packages and had not been sorted out yet. He did say that I could maybe get it on Monday though.

Are you sure its the game? Maybe you bought a FONV Collectors T-Shirt. Or maybe the FONV Collectors Beanie. Hmmm are you sure its not the FONV Collectors Bottle of Soda ( Nuka Cola ). Hmmm. Soooo where do you live? :toughninja:

EDIT - I'm almost positive that talk of getting a game early is against forum rules...
