id love to be able to run around fast with this weapon, it not the best i know, but its great for knockdowns and crowds, plus i love the sound effects on it and its look...i think i would be a simle thing to change...if the feedbacks right of course.

Yes and no.

Yes because then I could have an assault rifle with the Lobster.

No because then it would be a little OP.Beside, the Carb-9 is as effective as any of the ARs,so it's fine the way it is.

I would say no. It does have a low ammo capacity which kind of had me leaning towards "yes", but at the same time, I don't think lights should be able to have that much control over crowds. As a light, you should be trying to stay under the radar as often as possible and the lobster kind of goes against that play style.

Voted No.

The GL is balanced for the Heavy, not for lights. As skullman86 said, lights with a GL goes against their playstyle. They should not be able to use crowd control weapons.

Ive always imagined lights as the flankers. They get high & snipe, or run in from behind or above, snatching the objective & flying away with slow heavys playing as bodyguard. To add a weapon that can bowl down groups of players into the hands of that sorta player? Seems a bit much

I don't know if anyone posted this but when you switch from a medium character to a light without changing your weapons you keep the weapons you last used as a med.

no... its not their playstyle in the slightest. Doesnt make use of their body types at all. (lol Insert comment about wanting a shotgun here)

I would've loved this a few hours ago but after finding myself in the Drognav I can't see it making much difference to me so am undecided.
The only reason I re-tried out Medium was for the Lobster, and a Lobster/MP pistol combo would be deadly. Seeing as you dont get much ammo I can't see it being OP.
