Weird ticking noise when jumping

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 7:44 pm

Hello, i just picked up Brink a few days ago at my local gamestop for the PC and i already had steam so i installed it and everything. When i first started playing it was fine but now when im playing i notice a strange ticking noise whenever i jump or i am jumping onto or off of an obstacle. Ive thought about uninstalling and reinstalling but i thought i would come here first to see if there was a solution.

I don't believe you can do much about the annoying ticking sound, unless you were to figure out how to unpack and replace that particular sound, but dont recommend doing that incase the game thinks your trying to hack the original content, definitely an annoying sound, i think its there because jumping is very ambiguous (cant spell) in this game.

I have gotten it right at the beginning of a game as an engineer.

its a completely different noise to a low supply meter. I get it to, no idea how to fix it. I just don't notice it after a while
