Are there specific things that cause Vilja to lower her disposition toward the player character? I ignored her for a while and had her stay at the castle while I did some solo missions. Some time later in the game she wasn't as friendly and checking her disposition it was down to 47.

So, what factors would cause her disposition to go down?

Choosing snide or offensive replies to her questions will do that. I *think* not having one of her favorite treats after many requests will do it, too, but I have no proof of this.

I made no offensive comments but did not have a few treats a couple times (she said that was OK, not like she was mad) but not enough to lower it that much. Only thing I can think of is during one of my solo quests I got a 1 infamy and a 750 gold bounty. I cheated and cleared those with the console.

I don't know. A manual would help (but since one is not available in RL for dealing with the fairer gender ), perhaps that will not be available here in any detail. I guess I can treat is as RL, you know, Women!

The most likely cases are the infamy and bounty or just the fact that you left her behind for too long and the game decided to reset her disposition. Go get some strawberries.

Yes, I also believe it's your infamity and the bounty that causes this - npcs disposition will drop when you gain infamity. Vilja is no exception, but there are ways to raise her dispositoin again. It happens automatically over time, and you can speed it up, for instance by giving her strawberries, sweetrolls etc through the dialog (Let's just talk for a little while -> Is there anything I can do for you?).
