Bound-Armor bug:

Hey all, I seem to have recently run into a problem involving the bound-curriass summoned from a rune stone; As stated in the topic description, it won't stop equipping and reequipping every second.
Here's my load-order as of now; I've installed and removed a few mods since the last time, so I'm sure the problem lies here:

Not related to your problem, but Midas Magic and Moriarcis are not compatible. They edit the same cells, as I read from Moriarcis' Readme...

EDIT: You use MMM, so try using SM_MMM plugin from Supreme Magicka, and SM_Cobl with Cobl. Don't know if there is something similar for Fran's

Unfortunately it did not :( However, I found something while looking at the console that might be related; There is an invalid script error in the file "7a003e9b" from the mod BFG's Enhanced Armory.esp. I'll try removing it and seeing if that affects anything.
EDIT: Problem Solved! Aw man, and I really liked using that mod :(

Have you tried installing the latest Unofficial Oblivion Patch Supplemental? It changes all Bound Armor into quest items. I think this will fix the problem, because my mod intentionally ignored quest items.

If that does not fix it, let me know!
(Or, alternatively, you could just turn that part of the mod off in the INI until I am able to fix it.)


EDIT: Hmm, very strange. I just tried a Reman Rune Stone now, and did not have the problem. Are you using the latest version of BEAR (1.751)? Earlier versions did suffer from the "unequipping/reequipping" bug. Also, what are you wearing just before using the Reman stone?

Yeah, that was the version I'm using. My character was wearing and iron cuirass before. It seems the problem begins only a few seconds after the bound cuirass is first equipped.
The bound sword is fine.

The strange thing is, the bound cuirass should not unequip and reequip at all. If working properly, BEAR only does an unequip/reequip when it needs to adjust the enchantment on a piece of armor - but the bound cuirass is not enchanted.
Do you have any other mods that also affect the bound cuirass? Maybe some other mod is trying to unequip it, and so BEAR keeps trying to reequip?
Is the bound cuirass, or the iron cuirass you were wearing before the Reman stone was used, enchanted? If so, what enchantment?

If you are willing, I'd like you to temporarily turn all your mods off except BEAR, and see if the problem still occurs. If it doesn't, then it may be that BEAR is conflicting with another of your mods.

Well, I think the Curiass I was wearing may have been enchanted, it's the "Royal Cuirass". I have BEAR loaded towards the end of my load-list, but I'll try and test it without any mods later. Thanks for the support, and the overall great mod!
