Dear Developers.

I started Steam and got the news that there was a new patch. Which of course Steam downloads and installs automatically.
I read about the various things that the patch cured and when I got to the part about the cowboy repeater, I remember thinking, “Wow… I’m glad I didn’t have that problem. I like my cowboy repeater.”
That and the Trail Carbine are two of my favourite guns.
After the patch I play the game and find to my horror, and I DO mean HORROR, that both my Cowboy repeater and my Trail Carbine now cause a freeze on reload.
I can move around but Tab is unresponsive. I have to waste a shot to scare it into working again.
When I get home from the rat race, I want to get out into the wasteland and fantasise, Fantasise that I do makes a difference, where I can be a hero, where helping folks gets some appreciation.
The bugs are snapping my fantasy back to reality.
I paid good money for my fantasy. I paid for but didn’t receive the caravan pack for pre-ordering. I was so eager to play that I even let that slide.
I had to turn the settings down low as the FPS has always been pretty bad, especially where more than a couple of NPC’s are in the same location.
The caravan game simply didn’t work.
Sometimes it would crash half a dozen times even before it was loaded.
Occasionally it would crash for no apparent reason during the game.
But for the most part I could still achieve my fantasy state.
But now my favourite guns don’t work properly.
My fantasy is ruined too often. I cannot escape the real world for the time that I need.
I can take lower resolution. My imagination is plenty good enough to fill in the details.
I can take the multitude of crashes before game start. Ten minutes of misery before the fantasy, doesn’t really hurt that much.
But my guns. MY GUNS!
I NEED MY GUNS!
