Well, I guess some people over at Fallout New Vegas Nexus decided that they did not like the stuttering and have made some New Vegas stutter removers.
Only problem is - they require a decrypted falloutnv.exe which is only available through down loading a pirated/hacked falloutnv.exe - as steam's falloutnv.exe is encrypted. Just another reason why I dislike steam so much (Indeed, why can't we just have the full game on a CD. We don't need Steam or Windows Live). In truth, I would rather deal with one of the varous CD encryptions ( Yes, I even had to buy another DVD for the game Risen, because of this) than Steam or Windows live (As I consider both of these to be a low form of malware and addware. - Why should I have to give any personal information to play a game?).
Needless to say, If I want to try one of these stutter removers - I must break the law to do so, in addition to subjecting myself to all the Virus/Malware which can be found on the pirated sites. Something I am not willing to do.
In the end, I do not have to much faith that obsidian/bethesda software is really going to work to much on this stutter issue - as it seems to be a problem with their game engine. However, it would be nice to have the option of trying the communities fixes. I see this whole steam encryption thing as bad JuJu for those who really want to help by modding the falloutNV.exe
