nehrim body mods

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 7:25 pm

I just downloaded Nehrim and am happily playing through it but I can't wrap my head around those vanilla figures. I tried setting up HGEC but there's a gap between the waist and the abdomen - I think the clothing meshes don't line up perfectly with the new body ones. With Oblivion HGEC had made replacements for all the clothing files but I think Nehrim uses other clothes. Can anyone recommend a good body mod that will line up with the vanilla clothes?

First off there is a an entire thread dedicated to http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1118767-nehrim-and-mods/.

But body mods have not been covered there much - there is a Mods forum at SureAI and http://sureai.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=86&t=1543 there where they do focus on body mods.

Also just searching the work Nehrim on Nexus yeilded http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35271 which I do use with Nehrim.

Well are you using mods that add armors or alter armors?

With body mods where there is no esp then the issue is often install order. Not sure what other settings you would be referring to.

No, the only one I'm using is the Nehrim TC. I tried adding the HGEC and got that gap. I don't know which settings I'm referring to either. It only happens if my character is wearing pants but no shirt (huntsmen vest etc). It isn't really a big deal though.

Well generally with body mods if clothing does not cover the entire skin area (not head no hands) then that particular piece of clothing would need a body mod conversion or you end up with what you are experiencing (gaps) or mismatched body (body mod curves and details when naked and vanilla when (mostly) clothed.

I just looked in that archive and it is only the bodies (no clothes conversions), so you could try (and I may too soon as I get back to Nehrim) to use the EVE compilation which may provide the clothing you need. It will certainly handle all vanilla clothing shared by both Oblivion and Nehrim and maybe some of the clothing that is shared between Nehrim and overhauls like frans and OOO. Maybe not as well - I've seen armors in Nehrim that I've not seen in those overhauls.

Also it seems that with Nehrim the two human races are basically nord and imperial refashioned and the Aeterna are Ren's Mystic Elves refashioned. Looking in that hackjob there is still orc and redguard and further no ren. So it is incomplete.
