Okie I don't know if its just me or no one else uses a mic on this game. I have a turtle beach px21 headset and right now I can hear myself ingame and see my mic but out of all the time playing no one else looks to have a mic or do I hear anyone. I've played battlefield and cod and know its not my mic so is there any thoughts on this as how to fix it or is just no one using a mic.

I'm in a public game, I notice when I talk alot of people hear me because I had a soldier recently that was doing what I was saying while we were moving up on a flank.

I use a giotek EX-01, does the job I guess.

Good, trying to narrow down the reason as to why I can't hear other people chat. Making sure it isn't just me or headset or maybe the psn chat servers down.

By default, on most game modes, voice chat is limited to fireteam only - you have to go to the player list and team up with people so you can hear one another.

ok dude im in public matches, but i do not see how to "fire squad" up with anyone else on my team per se.

Go to the menu.

Go to the scoreboard.

Select a player, and you should have an "invite to fireteam" option.

dude its ps3 no one uses mic's on ps3....not being harsh as i own a ps3 but the lack of people that use mic's compared to xbox is crazy

i would say 85% of the ppl i game with on a regular basis on my ps3 have mic's, but as for the mass populous Reef is right...

i use my old cellphone bluetooth, it's a plantronics that i got from walmart for $20 and its works good

A lot of XBox consoles come with a mic. Doesn't happen on PS3.

I see a pretty good amount of mic-users in games though.

I would rather buy a mic then have the ones on xbox. I bought this px21 for that reason, the ps3 blue tooth svcks and the xbox ones svck so the one I have works on pc, ps3 and xbox, and makes a huge difference in sound when playing.

using the ps3 bluetooth headset, only works in challenges and private matches.

I can hear my friends in the fireteams online, but they can't hear me. searching for a solution but finding nothing.

like glenlll, i am using an old cellphone headset, motorola bluetooth. ive never had a problem with it. with brink i have only used it in private matches with my buddy.
