hi folks i was wondering if you could help me ass ive just recently bought oblivion for the pc and i was wondering if you could tell me how to get into the game files to install mods. also i have seen mods i would like which need programs like 7 zip and the mod manager do i actually need these??

p.s it would also be appreciated if you could give me a suggestion or two on good mods

The pinned OBLIVION MODS FAQ thread is a good place to start. As for good/recommended mods, I'd start checking out http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/top/. There are so many categories of mods so it's easier to give recommendations if you're a little bit more specific.
