Just want ONE spoiler.

Hey,

I'm playing a good/neutral guy and my original idea was to have an outcome where the NCR, Mr. House, and Legion all fail to gain control over the Mojave, and small settlements like Primm, Goodsprings, etc. get to decide their own future. I mistakenly looked at the FNV quests section on the Fallout wiki and saw that there are only four paths you can take - those three, or 'Yes Man.' I didn't want securitrons involved because I wanted bots to be out of the equation (main reason why I killed Mr. House) but I'm gravitating more towards that path now. Is it possible to help Yes Man without having to fight the NCR or commit violent acts against them? I don't want them establishing control, but I don't want to kill them either.

All I want to know if that's possible, or if going down the Yes Man path is essentially a "screw all you guys now all of you die, I crown myself king" kind of thing.

The Yes Man route is essentially a "Get out of my Nevada!" option. It forces the Legion and NCR to leave. Depending on some end-game dialogue options, the NCR bloodshed might be limited.

So there is no way at all to fully spare the NCR (perhaps bring them in line with the rest of the region rather than force them out?)

I know, it's probably getting close to the 'two spoilers' line but if you have to go there don't answer. Going to continue the rest of the MQ tomorrow.

I could give you a bunch of spoilers, but since you only asked for one, I'll give you this thought - say you wanted NCR, Legion and House out of the picture, for it to be an independent city for the people and by the people? OK, so what things need to happen for that to work?

as for Securitrons, (small related spoiler)

Spoiler
the Yes-Man path involves you and the Securitrons against the world. So you can't really do it without them. Basically, you become House.

I made it work, although I had to holy hand grenade 2 power armored NCRs guarding the Dam control room and massacre the El Dorado substation troopers.

Thanks for the responses. And the Yes Man / Oliver short was hilarious. :)
