I suggest you to add new rank availability in Freeplay mode. I'm talking about any, anyone. Not only my rank and higher. I think, it will help find quicker and more players to the match.

Agreed, I know I personally don't give a [censored] if I hop into a Rank 4 match with a Rank 1 character. Done it plenty of times with friends & had no problems.

If a player doesn't want to potentially get stomped, then they don't select "My Rank or Higher" or this new one. Everybody wins.

Especially in this game, rank and level isn't that much important. It's no big differences between players. It will much improve the game.

If it means finding more matches with more human players then i'm all for it.

How does "My rank or higher" work when other people have no "any" option anyway? Some high-level players would prefer not to go up against players who are lower level than themselves, how are they catered for?

If the game actually works the way it says it does, the "my rank or higher" option won't put you with anyone of higher rank anyway...

Brink is designed to balance out ranks and teamplay. It'd not be fair for a 20 rank to beat up on Level 1 players unless in the chosen mode, Old School. Play Old School.

If the level 1 players CHOOSE to be targets, and the level 20 players CHOOSE to allow them into their game, then they should be allowed to go get beat up.

At present, there's no option to allow lower-level players to join your games.

EDIT: There should be "my rank only," for players within the same bracket as you, "my rank and higher," for added challenge, and "any rank," which allows players both higher AND lower rank to join your game.
