After 1 day of playing, this is a game I completely regret shelling out 50 bux for.

Terrible AI
Glitches in Graphics
Terrible Single player planning.
Glitches in gameplay / stuttering.

oh and did i mention TERRIBLE AI!...
As i type this, im alt tabbed, waiting for the game to finish the run on the "Early launch" mission, cause its so poorly planned
and executed that i cant bring myself to play it anymore.

Terrible AI Half of the forum says the AI svcks. The other half says the AI has heat-seeking bullets. Please be more specific?
Glitches in Graphics All games have glitches the first month. Fallout New Vegas was crap for a month and Black Ops almost unplayable for two months.
Terrible Single player planning. This is a multiplayer game. You don't play TDM or Search and Destroy for glaring plot development. Plus, there's a free DLC coming june.

By the AI being terrible i mean the AI in general

Your AI team is F'ing terrible : If you have to take an objective > dont expect cover. If your at an objective.. dont expect them to do it while you provide overwatch.

The enemy AI will stand there and look at me for about 3 seconds before they open fire, I unload with a smg at almost point blank and somehow they still kill me.

TERRIBLE.

Just so you know - I 100% agree with Rammite

Now...
1. Go get your money back (from the store. You know, the logical place to ask for your money back)
2. Leave this forum (Pretty straight forward)
3. *Friendly Goodbye* :wavey:

P.S. - 4. Go to a doctor (your memory isn't that good. You repeated yourself)

Okay.

What level are you? Every 5 levels, you go up a rank. Each rank radically changes the game - You and every player/AI has access to new abilites. This also makes the AI smarter.

You heard me. Or, well, read me, as the case may be. The AI starts off dumb as a rock. Always does. As you progress, the AI get stronger and smarter. At level 15, the AI get deadly enough you'll be complaining for a nerf.

The bots svck in general. Your team svcks and the enemy is op. They also svck because they are UNFAIR. They are omnipotent with aimbots. I'm walking up to someone from behind, he doesn't notice me, then out of no where turns around and headshots me. I'm disguised, walk up behind someone, about to throw grenade. The second I'm out of disguise they turn around 180 degrees and POW headshot.

Just because other games fail doesn't allow developers to do the same. People like you are making games bad today, because you are going to soft on the devs.

Okay, agreed. But with 8 maps and little content, this is like a 15 dollar arcade game. Don't say "free dlc" MNC was 15 dollars and also has free dlc. Has better graphics and no lag.

Same thing

Same thing.

Now stop bending over for the devs and actually give them criticism.

I'm assuming that you bought it on PC (since you said $50), in which case no, you will not get your money back. The CD key is tied to your Steam account if you bought it through retail. If you bought it through Steam they https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8360-WEJC-2625#refund.

The rant failed to state the point of hating this game and being a perfectionist without any good support...

Agreed

People who still defend that game have 1:No problems with the game cause they are so lucky so it's easy for them to say it's your pc or whatever (ignorant) or 2:they are complete [censored].

And THERE ARE one headshot kills.Ever tried the Barnett? This weapon is ridiculous powerfull and one shots everything with the weapon buff.

I'm with you that the enemy AI do seem to have aimbot at times, but that bot only saw you because it had Combat Intuition. Had it not, it wouldn't have noticed you so quickly. It happens to me playing against humans all the time,(they're not always so fast, though) so I have to be really quick with whatever it is I'm planning to do.

I dig this game :D
most of the time the AI of the bots (especially the one on my team) also puzzles me, but so does the "I" of real players, too
I appreciate constructive critique, but if you just want to flame about the game and tell us, that it svcks and that you want your money back... well, dude, get your money back and play something else.
it's easy to bash something... take a minute, think about it and let us know, what ideas you have to improve this game.

You won't get your money back from steam.
IF they would ever give you a refund you would be super lucky.

Console players CAN get a refund cause they dont got CD keys.

I play MP exclusively. So I have none of the bot issues that people are complaining about. In essence, when I first read about this game, I just didn't care about bots, because the word "bot" tells me that this is a MP game, not a single player experience. granted you have to possibility of playing SP, but that is not the focal point of the game. Complaining about bots in this game is like complaining about bots in CS, completely idiotic.
I have a dated pc, dual core 3.16GHz, 4 gigs of ram, gtx 460. I run this game with medium shadows, no ambient occlussion, but everything else on and on high. I have no gfx glitches and no problems with the graphics at all. In fact, I like the stylized graphics. So again, no problems here, for me.
I rarely get this stuttering gameplay, and never when it matters. Mostly happens when I am running back after spawning, and the char will run oddly. That is about it, and that is such a small issue really.

Oh, did I mention, I don't play SP in a game that is clearly intended to be a MP experience, not a SP experience.

That's funny. I try to play multiplayer too. Does this game have that? Because no matter how public I make my game, I still find myself fighting the bots.

Again... understandably the lag can be a problem but that will be sorted soon hopefully. But as far as the gameplay and the AI etc goes let me just say.........................YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!!!!!!!! So many people seem to have a problem figuring this game out.... its a totally different style of play and takes some getting use too but with time and some patience, and if you just like this sort of thing the whole experience is action packed and gets the adrenalin pumping so to speak.

I really dont understand how people can play this game for a day and then get on a forum and have a big whinge and cry about how hard it is etc, of course its hard, its suppose to be. What do you want??? a walk in the park???? i'm gald its hard it has only made me a better player. Believe it or not, it only gets harder as you progress through the levels too. The first five levels are pretty easy after that things step up and keep stepping up. But so does your character and his abilities and weapons so there is a balance.

PS : also..if you want human players only and no bots, select free play, public, and in match settings pick old skool or competition, my rank or higher will get you more people into your game if there are any online searching for a match (This will not work for the campain but you can invite friends if you have any to join you to help complete the missions and also the challenges)

Hey. Guess what. Prepare to have you mind blown.

I paid $86 US for Brink.

Well, not exactly. I paid $108 NZ which is equal to $86 US. And that was the cheapest retail price around, and I only bought it there because that store was doing the Spec Ops pre-order. I would have VERY happily paid the $120-140 NZ, ie. $96-112 US, that it was retailing for in other places if I had to. The only reason I didn't have the UK Special Edition shipped over, FOR CHEAPER THAN BUYING IT HERE, was because I didn't want to have to wait a week.

And so far the game has been worth EVERY SINGLE CENT.

Terrible AI that can be remedied by playing at a low rank, playing Hard or selecting Versus.
Minor glitches in the graphics, ie. texture pop-ins that were common on Borderlands but nobody [censored]ed about it.
I don't even know what SP "planning" is but I have nothing but praise for SP.
Very few glitches in gameplay and stuttering when the system comes under stress, of which I have never played a single game that is not guilty of this.

Apart from your misspelling of "SD" (SP = svcker Punch - the guys who made Infamous and Sly Raccoon, SD = Splash Damage, who made Brink), I'm seconding this.

And I bought from the same store as you. :celebration:

Also have to mention though, I can thoroughly understand that XBox players have yet to get their AI patched, and having to use workarounds to get the game's AI to behave is far from ideal. I also have to support those same XBox gamers, and the PC gamers whose graphics cards don't work even though they're supposedly supported, when they object on grounds of the graphics being $#&%. THEIR versions of the game have issues, and they have every right to complain.

I am going to try to get my money back for sure. I am almost rank 15 but i see no point in continuing. The game is not interesting enough for me to play on a regular basis. There's no thrill factor like you get from CoD. Maybe it's just me and it's what im used to but i don't like the play style at all. I guess i'm a just a tried and true TDM fan. The multiplayer on xbox is terrible, Lag is out of control which makes the game extremely difficult to play. The concept of this game really attracted me to it. The actual version of it needs a lot of work and that is universally echoed in this forum.

1. I am loving this game most fun ive had in a while especially when Im playing other humans
2. AI on easy or medium level is pretty useless for both offense and defense.
3. AI on hard still pretty useless but their aim is on point like super aim bots.
4. The combat intuition ability is also used by bots so even if you are behind them if you put your cross hairs on them they will know the same way a human would. However, this is only really more of a problem with bots on hard because they will turn around and aim-bot head shot you multiple times till u go down.
