Ah crap

Apparently my processor is only a 3.0ghz single core. I have just discovered this. Am I going to have problems with New Vegas? Fallout 3 runs fine but its processor requirement is only a 2.4ghz single core. According to the system requirements posted on the New Vegas main page, it requires a 2.0 dual core. Am I going to have problems because of this? I'll go cancel my preorder if this means I can't play.

AMD's Single Core Athlon right? It's the fastest Single Core there is, you should be able to handle New Vegas fine, but be aware of the fact that you may have hiccups once in awhile, but with Obsidians work on making the game run smoother, I doubt you'll have any problems running the game. You might need to turn the graphics down here and there though.

Trust me, my friend used to play FO3 with that same processor.

EDIT: Thanks to mod for deleting my double post.

If you can run Fallout 3, you will be able to run New Vegas
