The PS3 version

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 10:25 am

Fallout 3 was a fantastic game, but the graphics on the PS3 did not look good compared to an xbox360 (not to mention pc lol).

Do you think the graphical issues will be sorted in New Vegas so that both the Xbox and the Ps3 versions look equally good?

Yes they will be sorted. Fallout 3 came at an awkward time for the Playstation3. The PS3 was relativity new at the time and many game designers didn't know how to programme and convert their games to it well. Now the PS3 has paved its way in, Games designers can programme and convert their games to it equally and do a perfect job of it. The past is no longer present; don't worry. :goodjob:

Didn't think about it in that way. Good point! :goodjob:

But since they are using the same engine, they can just use the old "ports" or whatever you call it and the game will end up looking the same as F3 :P ?

I would go in expecting it to be as buggy or worse than F3.

I must have a 10 Luck in my PS3 playing. I have the ancient 40 GB PS3, and it ran Fallout bug free mostly, the only major issues where places like the battlefield on Operation Anchorage and FPS drops in Point Lookout (And the floating items in the sky gltich happened twice to me, once on two different play throughs.)

The PS3 was not shown in the run up the game (used a Developers Kit 360) so we have not seen the game/

We will have to wait until it comes out to be able to tell you how it will look and feel.
