Friendly (Or Speaking) Dragons

Friendly dremoras is the next step. What exactly are dragons in TES lore? Energy construction that burns into flames as they die or why don't they leave physical body behind them when they die? If we know what they are we can judge if they fit as friendly. Tyrranids in WH 40K are hive minds for example, so if dragons would be like hive minds, they can't be friendly.

No. Dragons are a race just like any other as far as TES is concerned. They just happen to be big [censored] lizards.

Also, there were a number of "friendly" dremoras in Morrowind. Do the Tribunal Temple quest chain.

But the biggest difference is obviously that they burst into flames, is it just an in-built suicide mechanic or has it something to do with what they are made of? I have no idea. But if there were friendly dremoras in MW, there could be just a few friendly dragons in Skyrim

This month's issue of OXM had a small explanation for it. It's supposed to be the Dovahkiin absorbing its soul/essence/whatever, presumably it's a mechanic to help learn new dragon shouts.

And can we stop the absorbtion if we think a dragonskin armor would be better than a war cry? :P

Perhaps like the Dremora Sigil Keeper who you can talk to, or in Paradise that Dremora you can help/challenge.

Yes, if they're voiced by Sean Connery.

I 100% agree with this.
